ER Collets Are to be Applied For Tool Shanks Matching The Collet Nominal Size And Smaller, Down to the Next Size Collet in the Series. - For Example: to Clamp a 1.59mm (1/16") Shank, Use a 2mm Collet (2mm to 1.5mm Range). For Clamping a 6.35mm (1/4") Shank, Use a 7mm Collet (7mm to 6mm Range).
