    Description

Webasto Air Top Evo 40 heaters are designed for heating the sleeping places of trucks with a large cabin, special transport cabins and for small buses, such as Volkswagen Crafter, medium-sized boats.
Air Top Evo 40 air heaters are used for:
    - heating the interior of the car (cab, interior, cargo compartment and cargo)
    - defrosting of the cabin/interior Windows
    - when installing additional options
    – ventilation of the vehicle interior.
Air Top Evo 40 heaters are not allowed for heating trucks carrying dangerous goods. The heaters operate independently of the car engine and are connected to the fuel tank and the vehicle's on-Board network. These heaters can be used in vehicles with both air and liquid-cooled engines.
Thanks to the use of ceramic technologies, it was possible to significantly reduce the load on the car battery, and the metal-ceramic gasket gives resistance to heating and wear.
The principle of operation of the air heater Webasto Air Top 40.
When the heater is turned on, the glow pin is turned on. The fan motor of the heated air and combustion air starts working at 50% power. After 40 seconds, the metering pump is switched on and flame formation begins. For the best start-up result, the metering pump and the combustion air blower start working at different frequencies and speeds. After 90 seconds, the glow pin is switched to the flame sensor and controls the combustion process.
During combustion, gases released during the combustion process pass through the heat exchanger. In this case, the heat from them is transmitted through the walls of the heat exchanger to the heating air supplied by the supercharger and then to the heated room.
