    Description

100 years old, this is a Brunswick model that is similar to 3 other famous Brunswicks for the late 1800's and early 1900's. The Marquette, the Pfister and the Westminster. All had the same body style with this one being the most simplistic. Quarter sawn oak is the standout feature to go with the elaborate styling of the legs reaching all the way to the floor from the pockets. Beautiful design that goes with any period interior design. Rails are rosewood veneer on top and quarter sawn oak on the sides with brass rosettes trimming out the rails. Pretty table but not over the top. Well under the ,000 mark and that is what you can pay for a brand new Brunswick today that was made in Asia somewhere. New tables, like new cars, lose half their value immediately. This table will be worth the price you pay today, 10 years from now. It is an antique and your family heirloom for generations to come. Stories will build and remain with this table as you recall holidays, birthdays and anniversaries over the coming years. Beautiful piece of furniture for your home and something you can enjoy at any age. Slate is 1" and I will personally deliver this table to your home but will need local billiard company to install. I can do it with help if necessary but at my age I'm just not wanting to undertake this job anymore. If you have questions about this or any of my many tables listed on eBay feel free to email or try and reach me thru information at Port City Antiques and Auctions in Duluth.. Be aware that eBay now charges sales tax on all sales. Not my fault nor is it Ebay's fault. Our government just passed a law requiring ebay to collect sales tax on all sales. I will try and help soften that blow by including some of the accessories at no charge. Delivery is a mile and I will discount that a little in order to make up for some of the extra cost. Thanks for looking and email with questions.
